Video Editing: Edit and Elevate

Murendwa is a raconteur who meticulously blends art, technology and storytelling into everything he creates. Whether he’s designing, writing, directing, or composing, his approach is rooted in a deep love for creative concepts that challenge the status quo.
His journey began early, driven by a curiosity about how things work and how they can be reimagined. While excelling in a national IT competition and securing a bursary for further study, he wasn’t content to stay within the confines of one discipline. That curiosity led him to study graphic design instead, where he earned an honours degree and began exploring how visuals can carry meaning beyond the surface. From there, his work has branched out in many directions, including the founding of his production company, Kollaed, which produced two films that earned nominations at the 2023 Botswana International Film Festival.
He’s been a four-time Loeries finalist, an achievement that speaks to his consistent dedication to his craft, but what matters more to him is the impact his work has on the people who experience it.
Currently, as the Acting Director at a publication house, Murendwa continues to lead with a vision that’s grounded in collaboration and storytelling. He understands that creativity doesn’t exist in isolation, and he’s constantly finding new ways to bridge the gap between mediums—whether it’s taking a visual concept and turning it into a digital experience, or translating a brand’s story into a narrative that resonates.
Murendwa’s work is never about standing in the spotlight; it’s about making space for ideas to breathe and evolve. He brings the same quiet intensity to every project, whether he’s behind a camera, creating visual artwork, or drafting the next script. His work speaks for itself because it’s always authentic, always focused on creating something meaningful.
